DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
Monday-Friday directions (until 10:00pm)
1. Take 2nd Avenue North to the main gate.
2. Stay in the right lane and go into the Visitor’s Center. A letter
of authorization for your pass will be on file, but you will need to
provide your driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of
insurance.
3. Turn right out of the Visitor’s Center parking lot and go through the gate.
4. Drive forward. The street you are on is Goddard. The road does fork at
one point. Stay to the left.
5. Continue on Goddard until you reach 75th Street, where you will turn left.
As a point of reference, the Burger King is on the corner of Goddard and
75th Street on the right.
6. Go approximately two blocks until you must either turn right or left. You
will turn right, and this street is 4th Avenue North.
7. Almost immediately, turn left into the parking lot for Building 1240. This
is the Education Center.
Saturday-Sunday directions (and after 10:00pm on weekdays)
1. Take 10th Avenue North and proceed to the security gate.
2. People needing passes will have to pull up to the security person on duty
and let them know they need a pass. They will then be directed to park on
the outbound side of the gate. They will have to walk up to the window,
present their necessary paperwork and be issued a pass. Have your license,
registration and proof of insurance handy before going to the gate.
3. Proceed forward. When you have to either turn right or left, turn right
toward the traffic circle and enter it. (Vehicles already in the circle
have the right of way.)
4. Go ¾ around the circle to the left or counterclockwise and exit on Perimeter
Road.
5. Proceed forward and take a right at 74th Street.
6. Now you have a choice. You can take the first left (before the recycling
center) which takes you to the back of the Education building or you can
continue straight and take a left at the stop sign. Go past the Skills
Development center and take a left into the parking lot of the Education
Center (Bldg 1240).
